Pics before we go

Jake, Grandma and Mommy are headed to California tomorrow (thursday). So here are some pictures to get you through!

This cute blanket is from Art & KT down in Savannah...KT made it...they were neighbors of ours. The blanket is super soft and wonderful!
A face only a mother could love.
Another Badger Saturday...He's filling out his uniform now!
But I'm still tippy! Help me Grampa!!!
And here we are sunday, ready to trick-or-treat...he looks like a melted tootsie roll here!

Aw, that's better!

Here's the Tootsie with Uncle Jeff! Megan S had her 2nd birthday party during Trick-or-treat, so we got to have our first outing!

So that's Gramma and Grampa to Jake, but Great-Gramma & Great-Grampa to Megan!

Candy? In my mouth!

We disrobed from the Tootsie Roll and now look like a burrito!

And this was just this morning (10/31)

I'm a working girl now! I'm tired. Here's some pics!

My muscles are HUGE!

Me and Mommy fell asleep, Grandma is so sneaky!

Grandma Carol came to visit.

So did my girl Hannah!

My first attempt at cereal. I think I like it, I was doing that chewing thing, but it didn't make me sleep for 8 hours straight yet. Doh.

The End Is Near

It is officially my last day of "maternity leave". I put quotes around it because I've been on leave since we went to Savannah! haha! I stayed in bed with Jake until 11, baked some cookies (the package says it makes around 5 dozen and somehow I made 5 dozen after eating a dozen worth of dough, teehee!)

Last weekend we went to Lake Geneva for a little while. It was so blasted hot out we didn't make it very long. We found a fun toy store...they have all the old stuff! And found a crappy place to eat. Then we took a drive around the lake and came home. The leaves weren't changing too much, but it was still a pretty drive.

What else have we been up to? Not much! Jake is all ready for daycare on monday. I am not ready for work. I will be, don't worry. So here are some pictures instead of my boring jibber jabber!

Me strong like bull! (10/4)
(click on photos to enlarge as always!)

Me and my puppy dawg
The thinker or is it the stinker? (10/5)
No, this is the stinker!
Happy, happy, joy, joy! (10/8)
My outfit from Auntie Tara. (10/9)
80's vs Elvis look...I go for Elvis with the tongue hanging out! (10/10)
I am the product of these two people? 50% Mommy + 50% Daddy = 100% CUTE! (10/11)
What is this baby doing on my floor? It's my little brother that I totally adore!
I'm so happy I could pee!

And here are some more pics of Miss Alexa.
Her and Daddy (yeah Randy, that's you, Daddy!)
Hanging out in a little ball.
Rrraarrrr!

Those are still from the hospital...everyone is home now of course, she's almost 2 weeks old!

Well, next posting will be done as a working girl. I mean a career woman. :) Luck to me!

The Lady Arnold Joins Us!

Alexa Mackenzie Arnold was born last night (10/2) at 7:50pm after a mere 40 minutes of pushing! 7lbs 9oz and 21" long! She's fully cooked and not much bigger than Jake was! Hopefully we'll get some non-goopy eyed pictures soon! :) Especially one of the new papa holding her! Teehee!

Holy smokes, I'm a grown-up

I've landed myself a J-O-B! One that actually uses my college degree, 40 hours a week, salaried...Wowsers! Back to the adult world...it does sound a little scary tho. I have to hunt down a daycare so I'll be starting around the 15th.

Randy & Shelley are currently in labor! It's been slow going, but hopefully something happens soon! Her water broke around 2:30 and she got an epidural shortly after, so sleep has been had!

Here's a picture update from Jake!

Last week I snuck into Beaver Dam to meet some new friends! Here I am with Jeffrey (Jodie's son). We're related too, but it's sooooo far apart down the family tree, if one of us was a girl, we could date. He thought I was darn funny! Oh yeah, I think I just tooted!

And here I am with Madison (Jeffrey's future step-sister.) Maddie's brother Riley didn't want to hold me, so no honors on the blog! Riley used to go to school with my cousin Taylor!

And here is my first trip to Heine's! The Roedl's have been coming here since way back when, Great-Grandma Marie used to come here! Mommy used to play the duck-hunt game when she could barely see over the bar. I think those trophy's are from 1856, haha!

I also got to see Gramma & Grampa Sutton, they came for breakfast while I sat in my bouncy chair! It was nice to see them again!

On the way home I saw my first rainbow! It was even a double rainbow and so pretty! I could see every color perfectly. The truck says 1-800-Got-Junk and it's at the end of the rainbow! That's why no one ever finds the pot of gold, it's hidden in the junk!
Here we are at home on Saturday. I just had a bath, put on PJ's acquired from my cousin Saul and snuggled with my new Peruvian Kitty BlaBla.

Mommy met my pseudo Aunts, Angie, Cindy & Tara in Delafield for some girl time. I was the only boy, so I was feeling like the king! Here we are in Kohl's.

Here's Miss Abby rocking some shades. Mommy was trying to train her to be a super model.

Who are these people? Wack-o's!!!

On our way home, this guy was riding his motorcycle with his leather jacket that didn't have vents, so it made for a hilarious picture! Poof! Mommy doesn't talk and drive, she shoots photos and drives!

Sunday after the Packer game we went pumpkin hunting so I had to wear my First Boo shirt! Good thing I did, 'cause I don't know if I'll fit in it in another month!

Monday Mommy had her 6-week check up (a.o.k.) so I got to get snazzy for the nurses! This outfit is from Auntie Angie! There's pockets in the pants for my bugs! Then Gramma & Grampa Roedl came so Mommy could go knock 'em dead at her interview...which as we all know, she did!

This was just a bit ago! I have been up ALL day, so now I sleep snuggling with Daddy after a delicious bottle.

I have chubby cheeks! But they make me adorable.
That's it! He's 6 weeks old this week already...time flies! Still smiling like a champ. Ohh, we got some video, i have to play with that and see how to get it from camcorder to computer. Hopefully it's not too difficult!
