The cast is off of the super achiever Nita! Only a 4 week stint and the toe is pretty and straight. Now just to get the skin all nice again. Almost there. She adjusted quite well to her feet again, haha! Took her a little bit of un-graceful moves, but she was quickly back to leader of the pack!

Monday, Sept 13th down at the beach for a last hurrah before the cast!

Ohh, what's over here? Rocks to climb on! How 'bout that, they're all looking in the same direction.
There's Jake's head peaking over the rocks (as in, stay where I can see you,) Jessie following close behind and Nita bringing up the rear. She's only behind because she was meditating by the lake shore.

Anita has Metatarsus Adductus (MTA) She will be in a cast for possibly 6 weeks and getting a new cast every 2 weeks. Her ranking (either 1, 2 or 3) is a 1-2, so it's not terrible, but when you're a teenager, it's all terrible. For the first round, she chose pink for the cast! There's a little boot thing on it just because the figerglass can scratch the wood floors. Otherwise she can walk on it and do whatever. Just CAN NOT get it wet. It has not slowed her down one bit. In fact, I think she's faster!

Cast day! Sept 14th. One tired little girl, one pink cast, one dish of ice cream and one comfy blankie.

I'm home, and I'm fabulous!Getting a ride from big bro this morning. (Sept 15th)

The return of the stool made by grandpa! Each one has one so there really shouldn't be any fighting right? Except when only one is around and they have to share...here, a rare moment of getting along on the same stool.

The boys went to roof Grandma & Grandpa Sutton's roof so that meant super secret project time for Mom! This first photo is from earlier in the week when the littles actually had clothes on and looked like people. All 3 of them enjoy playing in the dirt. (Uncle Tony drives the dump truck.)

Jessie was kind-of stuck and ended up doing a mini-head stand in a hole. It was funny, if you were there.

Whoola! Went shopping in the neighbors flower gardens and came back with some fun stuff. Some of it was mine tho...okay, 2 things. And yes, I did hear that those palm spikey things are actually house plants so I will be taking them inside for the winter. Need some more rocks and everything to grow in!

So I figured I should put this in writing somewhere, and what better place then here, where everyone can be included! Oh, no, it's nothing crazy...just what the girls and Jake have been up to and where they're at besides height and weight.

(On the girls birthday, being silly nilly willies)

Speaking of height and weight...Jake is right around 30 pounds and at least 3'2"...he's grown, but I can't remember exactly right now and it's WAY upstairs. Let's see, what else...he's a copy cat.

(just like dad, putting girls shorts on his head. Teehee!)

Tonight he followed Dad who was mowing, around with his lawn mower. He does a lot of the same actions, tries to start it with an imaginary pull, fills it up with gas (which I had to grab the real gas can out of his hands.)

(Another lawn mower day, May 12th, stocking hats and jackets? Nuts!)

He tries to comfort his sisters...try being the key word...they usually just start crying harder. But he says the same words I do, today it was "it's okay honey, oh honey, it's alright." Jake is picking up on songs. Yesterday in the bath tub he got some "drums" and started in on the Pool Party song from Gabba, which he hasn't seen in ages. It took me awhile to get what he was saying, but I figured it out and tried to help him out...again, tried being the key word! He is a potty machine! Night time is another story I guess...but generally, I'm calling it, he's potty trained! And it's been months by the way. He LOVES to cook and help cook and make his own concoctions. Today he was going to make noodles. He got a pot and put water in it and put it on the stove...moved his stool by the noodle cupboard and wanted to make noodles. Listening, to who? I don't know, but I don't think it's me. He is sooooo busy doing what he needs to do, he doesn't have time for it.

The girls...are getting to be so much fun. They love to climb around on people and hang out. They don't sit still very long, busy like their brother. Jessie is walking a little bit. She'll take 4-5 steps or so...tonight was a new record tho, about 8 of 'em across the living room! Nita is a little more timid...she'll take a step or two and then revert back to crawling faster than fast. Man, they are fast. I guess when you've been crawling for almost 7 months, you get good at it! They both can climb up the stairs and are working on getting down now. They just did that one day on their own, like someone had shown them, they knew just what to do. I've been showing them a few signs...Nita picked up on "more" in the swing the other day. I've been showing them "all done" forever, but Nita just claps when she's done eating! And Jess, Houdini we call her, gets out of her straps in any chair and stands up to finish eating. Sometimes I find her in the middle of the table. Today I found her on the other side trying to climb down onto a chair. Jessie had been saying "go", but they're back to their twin talk and babble. The doc said between now and 2 is when you have to get on twins with the verbal skills. Their secret twin language can slow them down. I think Jessie is going to be quite the chatter box once she gets going. Nita will be the sneaky quiet one, yet a perfect angel, like her mama. :)

They're almost done with formula...I'm just finishing the last jug of it. They sleep excellent...Since I got rid of the morning nap, they usually are asleep in no time...they used to babble a lot when they went to bed. They each have two teeth on the bottom. No sign of any more, I don't think. Maybe they'll just pop through with no issues, that'd be nice! They were very crabby with the first ones, waking up a lot at night. There might be something going on now, one or both, or whatever, have been crying out in the night here and there, but nothing dramatic.

Our typical day: wake up around 7, get everyone together and downstairs, breakfast by 8. Monkey around, watch some shows, then are outside by 10 at the latest usually. Play around the yard a bit until Jake says it's time for a walk. We take the choo-choo wagon (best thing EVER) and head up by the lake.

(choo-choo wagon rules! Jake is very strong, not only pulls his sister, but throw in the 6 yr old neighbor girl and her friend too!)

There are some swings on this side of the park and then some more swings and toys on the other side. The girls sit in one swing and Jake gets under-ducks in the other. Some days we just walk too, Jake loves going by the water. As long as he's not IN the water. ha!

(This is why they're staying little peanuts, so we don't have to find a 3-swing park!)

(lunch, oh yeah, oreo for dessert...Nita neat as a pin, Jess, chocolate face!)

Then we head back home and are having lunch around 11:30 and the girls go to bed between 12 and 12:30. Jake watches some shows, Gabba usually and then heads to bed around 1. Then, it's mama time! haha! Right...it's usually spent cleaning up something, maybe a little computer time. I try to do house things from 1-2 and then have some straight mama time for a hour. I mean, one hour, that's okay right? So then, Jake is usually up around 3, sometimes later. and the girls get going about 3:30 or 4...Have a little snack and most days head back outside, waiting for the rest of the 'hood to get home and entertain us! Back inside around 6 for supper for the girls...usually everyone's eating from 6-7, then it's either bath time or just get ready for bed time. The girls go to bed about 7:30, 8 at the latest. Jake will lay in our bed and watch TV maybe or hang out with me and is out by 9...if he makes it. And me, once again, will be cleaning up.

That's about all I got for now. Pretty dull, but just little things to remember! And I spiced it up with some pictures!

Memorial Day Weekend coming up! The newest neighbors have some friends coming with a little girl that is a little older than Jake. Some get together's in the 'hood and hopefully a good time. We'll officially be a one-car-family as of saturday. Greg turns in his car. We haven't had it here for a few weeks now, it's been going okay. I don't really go anywhere during the day anyway, it's crazy with the 3 monkeys. This coming winter tho, that could be a problem! We'll go batty! Or maybe we'll just start riding the bus, the route is just a block away. Huh, always forget about that!

Anita:29.75", 17.13lbs
Jessica: 29.25", 17lbs

They are tallish, but skinny, so add butter to everything! Ok.

9 month check up

We went for the girls 9 month check-up last week! Or was it two weeks? My how time flies! Jessie is 27" and 16.4 pounds. Anita is 27.75" and 16.12 pounds. When they stand next to each other, you can see the height difference, but other than that, you can't tell! So they are in the 50th percentile for height and 25th for weight. More beanpoles! Jake was only 2" and 2 pounds bigger at 9 months. Not too shabby!

And this morning?!?! Looking in Jessie's mouth? There's a tooth!!! The front bottom left one is poking out ever so slightly. You can just feel it with your finger and see it if you look hard. Ahhh, finally! And the first thing she's first at! But they haven't been acting any different that I've noticed...normally crabby at night time. Whew, hopefully another good set of teethers. Jake was pretty easy too, knock on wood.

These are the latest photos...I haven't uploaded the camera lately. The girls and cousin Taylor (she turns 10 the end of the month) and then everyone! Jake is wearing his favorite shirt, popeye! He thought the popeye spinach at the store was pretty sweet! I have a great video of Jake feeding the girls. He does a pretty good job! My work is almost over! And the girls can climb up the stairs. I just need Jake to change poopy pants and my job will be so much easier!

Jake said "look, look at Nita!" I said "where?" and peek around the corner...she (her whole body, not just leaning on it) was UP on the FIRST step! I said, "did you help her or did she do that herself?" Jake said "self!" Hmmm...

What else...the girls are crawling like gangbusters. Jake is talking like gangbusters. They have been crawling since about 6 months and now are standing up on things like professionals. I've gotten them to take a couple steps yesterday while holding, so we'll see. Jake didn't walk until he was 1 and barely crawled...these girls must really need to keep up with their brother!

But I want the Williams Sonoma loot!

6 months

Had the girls 6 month appointment today! And the winner is...Miss Nita! Weighing 13lbs 10oz and coming in at a height of 25.75 inches! Jess isn't far behind, 13lbs 3oz and 25.5 inches. You wouldn't know it by looking at 'em! For informational purposes Jake was 16lbs 1oz and 28.25 inches. The girls are 50th percentile for height and 10th for weight.

Jake has a cold, Greg has a cold, I have a touch of a cold...I'm going to fight it tooth and nail tho! The girls too.

Speaking of fighting, I'm going to take some drugs! Just wanted to share the info with everyone!

Something weird is going on with my blogger. It went let me post more than one photo at a time, argh. So here's one of the most important ones...We won our first photo contest with this one! It was just a little local one.

Here's another good one. We made cookies one day, someone is his mother's son!

Otherwise the month of July was good. Had Greg's birthday during Lake Days, that was a good time. Had a couple family parties (on the same day) so got to see everyone and everyone got to see the kiddo's. August is going to be crazy! Well, at least one weekend. We're doing the girls baptism along with Wyatt's (Joe & Lisa's new dude) and a splash of Jake's birthday. Speaking of, if anyone needs gift ideas...musical instruments of the not totally annoying kind (mildly annoying is ok) and a 3-wheeled scooter (See link for idea.) He has ridden on two of those scooters (both pink) and was able to do it without anyone showing him how or what. He's pure genious I say! Ha!

So let's try something fun! The Ducks from the Dells were in town for a fundraiser for the YMCA. Jake was whimpering before we even got on the dang thing. Luckily the Ducks are super noisy so no on heard him.
Once we got going and into the water he was pretty cool with it. So cool, if you see here, he was mighty comfy!

These are taken with my phone again (oh yes, someone, ahem, Jake, broke my newer camera...I've been using my old one, but sometimes it acts up and reminds me why I needed a new one (which was Grandpa's old one). So now I need a new one again!)

Down to business first! Here I am last week tuesday at 37 weeks. I can't tell a difference from one week to the next anymore, it's all just huge!
Here are Jake and I at 37 weeks. Coincidentally, the last belly shot with him! Convenient all children will be born at 38 weeks? Less for me to remember down the road! And yes, totally can tell a difference between batches! Red shirt on, must've had to work at the Target that day!

The other day Jake helped Grandma plant some seeds. He had a glorious time in the dirt!

So two more days. Ooooh, it's 3:39 right now, I'll be getting warmed up with an epidural right about now I believe! Can't wait! My latest line is that I can't wait to have pain that I can take drugs for! And for people to quit saying "I was bigger than that with one baby!" Well, that's nice. How do you reply to that? Sorry to hear that lard-o? I better stay sequestered in my house before I do say that, hehee! I've been doing a good job of that. Staying sequestered that is.

Oh my gosh...had the last ultrasound on tuesday...Leftie is 5lbs 2oz and Rightie is 5lbs 4oz. 10 and a half pounds of baby! Ugh. So my guess is Leftie will be about 5lb 6oz and Rightie will be 5lbs 7oz. It will be oddly close. So then doc appt was good, quick and mild discomfort. And then I only had to do one NST that week! Saturday I did that and Leftie was snoozing so had to poke around and then everything was fine. That's it. No more pre-babies appointments. The next time I show up to the hospital, we're there for business!

Oopsie daisy, I just realized I got the weeks wrong on the last post. 34.5 weeks and 35 weeks. And here is 36 weeks!

And here is the cage fighter's room all finished up! The first of new windows in the house, no more draft! I think it's pretty set!

My dad built the changing table...he expanded on the idea of 4 legs, a flat top and a shelf! Whoohoo!
Besides the dresser and changing table, everything else is "hand-me-downs"...we're all going to have a killer garage sale in a couple years!

In case you were suffering from Jake and Porter withdrawals, here's your fix! Jake is such a poser...he sat on his stool and posed for me for as long as I wanted him to. But when I asked him to give Porter a hug, he wouldn't and Porter would walk away. They really do love each other...only when they want to!

Here is 35 and a half weeks....

And here is 36 weeks. Pay no attention to the "battle marks". Ugh. Seriously, how much bigger can this thing go?!?!?Tomorrow is another trip up to Froedert for the weekly ultrasound (started last week.) One week they look at the biophysics (breathing, fluids, heart rate, etc.) of the ladies and the other week they look at their growth. On Friday 4/17 Leftie was 4lbs 7oz and Rightie was 4lbs 8oz. The whole reason for this new precaution is that their bellies measure just a smidge under what they should be. So that just means we'll have skinny girls, just like their brother! Everything looks great otherwise! I still go for my twice a week NST's and haven't had any problems there. And then of course the regular doctor visits here once a week. I'm a busy girl!

But the big news, only 2 more weeks! Unless the cage fighters decide to make their own birthday, they'll be coming May 12th in the afternoon. Wahooo! Then let the real fun begin. I can't wait to heal up and not have an extra 20lb bowling ball in my front. So far, I'm up 23 lbs and one chin. Dang mint brownies.

Was to the doc today and will continue that drug to get me thru 35 weeks. My regular doc was on vacation, so I'll see him next week and get down to business. Otherwise everything is super duper! Another NST test tomorrow. La te da!

Oooh, look how cute and tiny I was with Jake at 33 weeks.Then KAPOW, not so cute and tiny no more! Huh, that's weird how my back isn't arched so much...maybe because the girls are sitting back there, pushing out wherever they can.

Jake likes to help make stuff...he kind-of stirs, but his best attribute is cleaning out the bowl...
...and cleaning off the spatulas. One is just never enough!

He is clean once-in-awhile! That lasts for maybe a hour.
And here we have some giggle time. Who knew, a tennis ball. Doesn't take much!

I made it out of the hospital after a hour of the nst test today! The contractions are still there, can't feel them, everything else looks good, toodle-loo! Yay! It was nice to have a non-needle experience! Go back again on saturday...will continue this for the remainder of the time I believe (twice a week visits.) And regular doc visits every week.

A little update...I went back on friday (after my glorious half day spa day) to the Birthing Inn for another NST test. Same thing going on, contractions, can't feel it, blah, blah, blah. This time Dr. Ambroe was on duty so he took care of me. They watched me for awhile and then a nurse walked in with a gown. DOH! They kept me there for 3 days. I got a shot of steroids and was put on Magnesium (muscle relaxer to relax the uterus.) The steroids (which was a shot in the butt, owww!) are for the girls lungs just in case. The magnesium did work, slowed down the contractions and made me all flushed and weird. I got my 2nd dose of steroids on saturday (24 hours later, one reason for the hospital stay,) other side of the butt and then they took me off the magnesium. So after 5pm saturday I was IV free! I had to have the heart beat and contraction belts on for awhile tho, see if everything stayed down. The girls were doing great as normal and I got to loose those belts later that night, so I was down to one plug for the contraction belt! Whoohoo!

Sunday morning Doc came in and he checked everything, everything was still the same and I got to go home about 10am. Yay!

The Birthing Inn was BUSY to say the least and I was the only one there just hanging out so I was low man on the totem pole, which was just fine. Eventually I ended up plugging myself back in after bathroom breaks even. Can't foul up one cord eh? I found out there were 10 births over the weekend, 2 emergency c-sections on friday! I heard lots of running and crying and laughter, so it was kind-of sweet.

Oh yes, I did have another ultrasound on saturday morning. Leftie is 4lbs and Rightie is 4lbs 6oz. I felt a lot better after seeing them again and knowing their size is pretty good! Here is the one picture...their heads together and hair! They are both head down yet and facing my back, so no good profile shots. Leftie looked like she had some chubby legs too! And as I write, Rightie has the hiccups. Crap...I can't get the disk to read, have to try later.

I went to the doc on monday and I go back for the NST test again wednesday and saturday (twice a week) and just keep plugging away...bed rest, do nothing (yawn!) and lots of beverages! I don't feel any of the contractions, which is good and nothing is dilated or ready otherwise.

Greg has my car and the camera is in the car, so I don't have any other pics right now. I need a 33 weeker!

32 weeks is NOT time for twins!

Today I had a normal doc appt. and was in and out like fire! But now I am starting to have the stress test (the nurses kept calling it the NST test) up in the Birthing Inn at the Hospital (same place as docs office and where Jake was born) twice a week. So Jake and I tool on up there thinking it'll just take about 20-30 minutes. Well GUESS WHAT? I was HAVING CONTRACTIONS! eegads! I of course could not feel these and was like what are you talking about? So they watched me and the babes for awhile (doing wonderful of course) and the contractions didn't stop...oh yeah, 1 minute apart, teehee! So they gave me that shot of something or other in the arm, the doc came up, did the FFN test (testing for a certain chemical or bacteria as a hint that labor is within the next 2 weeks) and checked everything else. All of that stuff came back just fine, not dilated, nothing. So they gave me some pills to take, which I have to keep taking, calcium blocker I think to ward off contractions and pumped me full of some fluid. I'm on slight bed rest. I can take care of Jake and what not, but no going to the grocery store or anything. Got to go home...let's see, doc appt was at 1:15 and got home about 5:30. Greg came up after work to rescue Jake for awhile, they stuck around but went and had some french fries, ketchup and ranch in the cafeteria too.

So keep your fingers crossed the trouble makers stay in at least 3 more weeks. After 35 weeks I am able to stay here in Kenosha. I think the doc was almost ready to send me to Froedert (Children's Hospital) today before everything calmed down. Whew. So here I sit with the cage fighters at their peek and their big brother ready to run a marathon! I do have some help around, so I will be able to sit down when need be! We are still planning on going to BD this weekend. Friday I am having a half day spa day (doctor said to go for it!) and then back up for another test. I hope I pass this time! :)

Cousin Taylor had her birthday party with her friends at the YMCA so we got to go swimming and then eat cupcakes! Here is a nice video of Jake's mad eating skills...half of it fell on the floor, then he got a chocolate one and made sure all of that was in his mouth. And yes, all the kids giggling are giggling at Jake. He was good entertainment as usual! :)

I haven't seen a robin yet, but I have some crocuses blooming! Jake and I went for a stroll around the block and lo and behold in the front of our house, flowers! I was pretty excited. Here they are! I have more coming up around the house but this little group was the only one with blooms. I love 'em!
And here's Mr. Coolio sporting some new shades, droopy drawers and his favorite hoodie.

We had company this weekend (Randy, Shelley and Alexa) and here they are stuff their face and trying to wink. Pretty dang funny. Oh, just Jake and Alexa...the adults used silverware.

And a stop at the outlet mall before they left for home. Jake found the dirt under the wood chips of course. That was after he ran down the little hill and meet the sidewalk with his face. Nothing can stop me, I'm a BOY!!!

Ohh...I have a 30 week picture, but the camera is still upstairs and I am carrying just too much weight to make too many unnecessary trips. :) I got winded last night after carrying a laundry basket up, haha! And the girls have been very busy today...I don't know what they're so excited about. Sheesh! I had a doc appt last friday (the 13th)...had a FFN test and all is good (no labor expected in the next two weeks.) And everything else he looked at is a.o.k. I lost 1/2 pound, nobody said anything about that so I guess it's okay. I haven't been eating quit as much as I was, so I'll go with that. And I'll make sure to eat more shakes, ice cream, chocolate pie... I also saw my doc at Woodman's the day before my appt and he said "ohh, starting to waddle!" Starting? So I go back again in two weeks...do the FFN test again and for the last time (after 32 weeks the results aren't reliable I guess.) Actually I think I go in right on 32 weeks.

Had another ultrasound yesterday! It's pretty cramped in there, but somehow Rightie (B) was able to turn around and she's head down now too. Proof positive here of their two melons smashed next to each other.

And here is Lefties face...she is upside down, her chin is right under where it says face. She is facing my back, so it was harder to get a good shot.

So Leftie (A) is 2lb 11oz and Rightie (B) is 2lb 12oz. They both gained 1lb in 1 month on the money. Neat! (According to the ever knowing babycenter.com, at 29 weeks one baby is around 2.5 pounds, so the girls are right on track.) And so Leftie turned herself around which is causing me much turmoil up top with her feet! She doesn't kick them that much, but they are jammed up where feet should not be if you ask me! Otherwise we're all doing okay! I'm tired always, as usual, and feel like a lumbering moose! I go to the doc friday so may have some more updates then!

I got mom's blue eyes and chocolate addiction...beyond that, I'm all dad.
We were at Hobby Lobby today and saw some stellar shamrocks! So of course we had to have a shamrock shake to celebrate!

So as of right now, Jake's been screaming for about a hour. I guess someone doesn't want to nap? Too much shamrock shake? Oh dear.

At his 18 month check up, he weighed 24 pounds (50th percentile) and was 34 inches high (90th percentile). Meaning, he's a bean pole! He wears pretty much all 24 month clothes already...can squeak into a few 18 month things - t-shirts, a few pants. Everything else is perfect. Clean bill of health I guess! And me too. I go for another ultrasound next week and doc appt. Last week, I was in and only gained 1lb in 2 weeks. Wow.

That's all I got for now. Oh yes...only 10 weeks to go!

Moons over Mi-uterus (and you thought I was going to say Mi-ami)

Had ultrasound # something or other on wednesday (25 weeks 1 day). The official stats: Leftie (A, my left) is 1lb 10oz and measured at 25 weeks 2 days. Rightie (B, my right) is 1lb 12oz and measured at 24 weeks 6 days. So that is excellent that their growth is so close. Remember, no worries until there is a 20% difference. That means one is stealing from the other and most likely delivery day. So their positions: Leftie is head down still, kind-of at an angel across my whole stomach. Poor Rightie on the other hand...her head is up in my ribs (poor me right there) and is in a very crunched fetal position where she is almost kissing her knees. So that means her butt is smack dab in Leftie's face. I hope she doesn't stink like her brother! Teehee! And their heart rates were both at 143 I think. And I was at the doc today...my weight is up there, but I'm having a brain fart at what it was last time. I'm either 2lbs or 7lbs heavier in two weeks. I'm going to go with the 2 pounds thank you very much. The doc did say I popped out.

Well, look how cute and tiny I was at 25 weeks with Jake. Hrumph. At least there isn't much difference in the back end. :)

And Mr. Smiley himself...yes, he is smiling for the camera...he has turned into a cheese ball. And his hair is growing out nicely! haha! He can climb up on toilets now and pretty much whatever else he wants to. T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

Back to the doc in 2 weeks! They must love me. Oh, and I was the only special one in that office having twins right now, but a newbie popped up today!

I am tired. But I am getting this done! The girls room is painted! Well, almost...all that is left is Greg's work of painting the trim (white) and then it's complete. Then we can fill it up!

Here we are mid-stripping of wall paper. The picture does not do the purple justice. It was hideous and probably caused nightmares.

Here are Jenny and I, I think silly from the smell? Haha! Just plain silly. I was so excited when we got finished. Cindy also helped a lot! I had great helpers! I was also excited about my $1 mini roller and tray, what can I say!

Here's a sample of the finished product! The orange and yellow are from the fish stuff that Jake currently has in his room. He is going to become dinosaur boy. It's bright, but very cheery and happy! Random stripes around the room.

Jake report: I hope it's teeth and not just a tooth. Jake rung in 2009 with a nice 103 fever. That lasted off and on for a few days followed by another few days of crankiness and out-of-character-ness. Last night (the 5th) he finally played with some toys and acted more normal. This morning he was up to his old tricks again. So far I only felt one tooth...so maybe he was fighting off a little bug too.

Not much else going on. Holidays were great and tiring. It was awesome the whole Roedl clan was around. And everyone was accounted for at the Sutton's too. It was nice. I will hopefully get some time to post pictures soon!

And here we are the other day at Woodman's. Jake fell asleep on the way there, so he just laid in the cart and we surrounded him with food, which is probably what he dreams about anyway!

Here I am getting my hair fixed by Ann! Whew. She rocked. I even got TWO suckers! I was a mess, but I behaved.
I want more suckers!!!!At The Wilderness this past weekend. I had a very important call to make. Many important calls to make. I was a busy dude.Back at Gramma and Grampa's. They told me and mom to leave on Sunday, but mom was too lazy. So we woke up Monday morning, and WHOAH, SNOW!!!!It's so cool!!!
Gramma is watching out the window. Get 'yer butt out here Gramma!!!I fell down a lot and didn't have boots, but I didn't mind one bit!
Before Mom and I left, we went to Crystal Creek Dairy House/Cheese House for some lunch. I have found my new love, Chocolate shakes. Oggghhhhh...mmmm....and I love the sound of the blender!
That's about all lately. Heading to BD today after Greg is done with work and I am prepared to eat like a queen all weekend. I can't wait.

Misadventures!

So alright, Greg "tried" to cut Jake's hair. He did not follow instructions, but it was going okay...until...buzzz...oops.

The before shot...notice here there already is something suspicious looking going on with the bangs. Yeah...Daddy tried to cut those too a couple weeks ago.

The during shot...Wasn't too happy about the whole thing...he KNEW something was wrong!

Back to being happy since I can run around in my diaper and shut the door and flush the toilet and play with the heater and...

So I was going to let it grow for a few days and take him to a pro to get this straightened out. Hopefully you won't even notice the fashion mishap.

We got a new boiler this past week. Not by choice, by another misadventure. We had someone come in to do a "check up" and well, it failed. But, hopefully all the money we save with mr. efficiency as opposed to mr. dinosaur will be great!

Dreams

For some reason you have crazy dreams when you're pregnant. Hormones? Humans living inside you? I dunno the technical reason, but I hear it all the time. I had another one last night and thought I better start keeping track of them. And anyone else's I may hear along the way.

"I and someone else (I can't remember who it was, it may have been Cindy, except a black Cindy maybe) went to a plastic surgery place to get consultations on boob jobs. So I'm sitting in the little room in the little gown and the doc walks in and she's like oh yeah, I see, without even looking at 'em. And then all of the sudden 5 other people walk in and start getting down to business and I'm like, but I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant! and all of the sudden they're putting me under with a gas mask and I'm mumbling the babies, the babies...and I actually am awake the whole time they're "lifting and tightening", but my eyes are closed. and whoola, like 5 minutes later I walk out all bandaged up and with new boobs. As well as black Cindy! we were freaked out and saying, but we just wanted a consult! and walked out with our new boobs."

And from Lisa we have:
"last night we went to visit the girl that I stole Joe from (who?) and she had his baby and wanted him to give it up and the baby's name is Ronnie Ron and he already had buck teeth and was as small as a lizard and we were ready to leave and we couldn't find the baby cuz he is so small and Megan was helping!"

Ahhh, such fun times!

They started replacing our boiler yesterday! The old dinosaur is gone and in it's place is a midget. We have been living with 4 space heaters (the nice kind and nicely supplied by the heating guys) that Jake loves to turn on and off. They light up ya know! Luckily it's been a little warm out for the time of year and hasn't been too terrible. Last weekend got a little rough on sunday after a couple days of high 30's. Yeah, I know, we have a fireplace...but did we get it inspected and cleaned and tuck pointed at all? Noooo. If only we planned ahead better. Ha!

Well my friends and family...I think you've all heard but I will confirm it now!

Jake is going to be a big brother...twice! Yes'sir, we're expecting twins this May. So those of you who loved watching my belly grow last time will have another lovely show! It will be interesting to see how much bigger it gets!

I went for my first appointment on monday and had a little ultrasound. Luckily Greg was not there, 'cause he may have fainted, I almost did. Here is the conversation:

Doc to nurse: Connie can you go around the other side? Nurse Connie moves around, he flips the screen around...
Doc: see here, see it there?
Me: Ummm...ohhh, yeah...awww, you can see everything (arms, legs, head)
Doc: Now see here? as he flips the doo-hickey
Me: Huh...wait, what? Are you shi**ing me?!?!?!?! Oh sorry. as I start crying...
Me some more: oh my god there's two of them? Greg has to get another job. No wonder why I've been so hungry. Call me Angelina Jolie! (to which the nurse replied, oh that twit, she's all stick thin again.)
Then the doc went on to talk about multiples and risks and everyone turns out okay. Also that I'm pretty high risk with multiples (I can't get over the word multiples) and my heart shaped uterus. Plus with my placenta previa last time, who knows with that, it's so random they can't really say if it'll show up again or a percentage of recurrence. So anywho, he said I will be pretty sick of them (good thing I love everyone there! My Doc. My hospital.) and I'll have oodles of ultrasounds and also at 18 weeks he'll send me to Froedert Hospital for a special one (forgot the docs name.) Then went on with the normal do's and don'ts and extras for having multiples. I can keep exercising (teehee!) but if I was going to a gym at 26 weeks he'd tell me to knock it off. Luckily I will not have that problem. I was pretty zoned out during this so I may have glossed over a few things!

So I am officially 10 weeks and 3 days. Both babies measured right on schedule. Due date is May 26th, but due to the repeat c-section it will be scheduled one-week prior...but with multiples, may be earlier than that. We will all just have to wait and see!

Does it take to have your drivers license taken away FOREVER?

Man gets prison for seventh OWI

Jeffrey S. Vujnovich, 53, 233 Cherokee Road No. 8, Beaver Dam, was sentenced to 36 months in prison and 50 months of extended supervision for his seventh conviction of operating while impaired.

Vujnovich's driver's license has been revoked for 36 months, and he must use an ignition interlock for 36 months. He must also undergo an alcohol assessment.

According to reports, he was pulled over on Dodge Drive, at the intersection of North Spring Street, on Aug. 23. Vujnovich registered a .146 percent preliminary blood-alcohol content. He told the officer that he thought the legal limit for Wisconsin drivers was .8 percent, however, the legal limit is .08 percent.

So is his license revoked while he's in prison so when he gets out of prison he can drive again? Same thought on the ignition lock... Apparently jail, license revocation and the alcohol assessment from the 6 prior convictions isn't helping this guy, can we think of something else to do with this idiot before he kills someone? But it's okay, he got the chemistry right to be at .08 so it was legal.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank my darling son for this excess of snot. I don't know what I would do without it! Hopefully I can share this bliss with others! You are welcome! :*)

We did it, we're almost to one whole year! This weekend marks the one year anniversary of the crazy events that unfolded that amounted to Jake's birth. It's the Dodge County Fair! I can't wait! And now, Jake gets to meet the cows himself! Yay! Is he too little for a pony ride? Saul was on a pony ride pretty early. I think a pony ride is in store too! Hopefully he doesn't beat the pony. He thinks he's patting Porter, but it turns into a beat down. Well, Porter runs away tho, so it's about two baby taps. Don't worry, we're not abusing our dog!

I went on a pool hunt and K-mart, the land of the einsteins, had one. This was last night when the sun was on the other side of the house. He got a little cold. We went again today with the sunshine and played and played! And yes, he's wearing lil' swimmers! His cheese belly's in the way!

Saturday's lunch, grilled cheese and carrots. Yummmmy! I cleared about half my plate. I love cheese!!! Thank goodness I live in Wisconsin!

And to tie in with that more, I just heard this morning that the founder of chick-fil-a had their house broken into and vandalized. Instead of pressing charges and giving the teen-girls a record, he's making them write something 1,000 times and read a good book!

I've got a little time right now...waiting for the sheets in the dryer. Had to wash everything...a) Angie got black marker on my sheets! but don't worry, it came out. and B) had to cleanse out the pink eye! Yup, Jake got his first "official" bought of pink eye. Never saw the doc or a nurse. Called the doc's office, nurse called me:

"Is there puss in his eyes?"
"yes"
"I'll call in a prescription for some medicine."
"okay"

And of course I forgot both sets are in the wash, so dang. Here I wait.

We're going up north this weekend...wayyyyy north...like this close to the U.P. (that's the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for you out of staters.) Here are some pictures to keep you sedated until we get back (and I hope it doesn't take me 3 weeks to post those pictures!)

Furniture!

It's a miracle! We now have ALL of our furniture! We have a dinning room!

The doors weren't on yet, but you can see them on the side. My pops made both this hutch and the corner one. This one is made from the old bleachers of the old junior high in BD. And take note, the updated light, it's now black instead of brass nastiness.
So decorating and such is scheduled for this weekend. Greg will be away so the girls will play!

I LOVE noodles! and generally anything you stick in front of my face.

Jake is 9 months plus a couple weeks. His check up was friday...coming in at 18.8 pounds and 29.5" he is consistently growing at 90th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight.

Not bad coming from this! (7.1 pounds, 19.5")

And he wears 12 month clothes. For now.

The owls are gone. It's very sad and lonely now! I hope they come back. The neighborhood is quiet, no serenading at night or in the morning, no "good morning hootie owls" from Jake...at least an attempt at it!

Tonight we have a wedding to go to! I get to shake my bon-bon. (Oh scary, when typing in Ricky Martin on google, the images it pulls up is him and another fella in speedos!) Saturday Jakers and I are going swimming with some family and friends. And Sunday we head back to K-town.

That's all I got right now, I'm at work so no new pictures! So here's a re-cap of the last swimming adventure in January!

Buzz & Sue came for the weekend and we got lots accomplished! Installation of a 21st century microwave (we have been borrowing one from Tony & Tricia which was probably their first one they ever owned.) But it's still not functional, don't know why.

And the cupboards are full! Well, not actually, I have room for more gadgets! Here is a sample!
That drawer front was scratched, so we wait for another one...and it'll probably be about mid-May when we get our counter tops. And then...ahhh...counter space.

Lots of other little things got done, it was great. And now we have a box-free dinning room! Until today...all the boxes from the kitchen lights are in there.

Take note, there are a couple posts from today. I really am caught up I think!

To catch up on a few things:
the owls. it's a family, great horned owls. Jake and I went to check them out the other night. Here's kind-of a picture...they blend in with the tree so a little hard to see. If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you may be able to see them better. But I can see them from the sun room...it's pretty cool. and they do whooot...in the morning and at night. it's loud enough to hear inside, but not obnoxiously loud...a pleasant loud if that makes sense.
deal or no deal: last week wednesday Angie and I went up to Green Bay with oodles of other people to audition for Deal or No Deal. We haven't gotten the phone call yet, but I'm patiently waiting!

Here we are originally in line...right by the Kohl's. Angie did go buy a hat and socks.

Well, the kitchen is 90% done! A few minor details, like the electrician coming back to finish, the microwave, dishwasher, sink, counters, garbage disposal, that last drawer front, and trim getting installed...okay, so maybe we'll sink it back down to 75-80%. But it's a lot better than it was just a few weeks ago!

We've been silent so long, you've probably forgotten who we are! We've been busting our bums on the house, I think we worked 2 months straight before taking a break Easter weekend. But things are coming together and we will finally see some HUGE progress this week as our kitchen cabinets get installed!!!! Yes, I yell that to everyone I see. That means, it's just a matter of another 3-4 weeks for our counter top to get installed!!! A stove top can only go so far as a counter.

I guess we have a hootie owl for a neighbor. We heard it when we first bought the place, but now people are always stopping and looking and using binoculars. We're thinking it may have had babies? Dunno...guess we should go check it out. It's right across the street in a tree in the cemetery, I should be able to see it thru the window, but I think it's tucked in a smidge.

Let's see, what other exciting stuff do I got? Jake! He can clap! And he rolls like a rock...he should be crawling soon. Then what will we do! What else...he's still happy as a camper and loves Porter and everyone he sees!

Long Awaited Update

Here we are! We now live in a house, a real house! Not a 1-bedroom apartment, but a 4-bedroom, 1 and a half bath, 2 car garage house complete with foyer. Hee! If you haven't guessed it, we've been crazy busy doing all the work before we moved in and now we're officially moved in as of this past weekend...and we're still working! We still have a gutted kitchen, but with a beautiful ceramic tile floor, semi-gutted full bathroom, but with a functional (somewhat) shower/tub (there's a leak now) and a dinning room posing as a storage facility for decor and kitchen stuff. Good thing we don't have a table!

We also have a wonderfully happy 6-month old baby! He's been so good through all this crazy schedule and going from here to there. Thank goodness there's only one of 'em and he can't crawl yet! He's working on it tho...loves to roll around and LOVES his new exersaucer Auntie Angie brought him! Yay!

I suppose I could quit babbling and show you proof of our work! Off you go!

I know, I know, you can barely believe it, but yes, even I get the grumpies.

Okay, I'm a little better now, but look at me, I can sit up!

We just discovered this delicious snack, fruit puffs...I can't say what I call it, 'cause the authorities might take it away and I'd go thru major withdrawals without it! Porter is addicted too.

Ah yes, here we are at the house! I adjusted right quick to the high chair and pound down 2 containers of baby food for dinner. Oink! Oh, and there's some of my treats, but not for long!

Tonight at 8:45 they were able to start morter-ing down the sub-floor. We left them at 10 with about 6 more boards to go.

Now this is the "sun room" when we bought it.

Snow Day

I'm at work writing this, so no pictures yet...some day soon!

Yesterday we got a TON of snow, and this is how my day went:

5:15am-Woke up with Jake for the morning bottle. Watched the news intently as the morning went on. Waited for daycare to call. They didn't call.
6:30am-called work and said daycare was closed (snicker!) Greg wasn't feeling good (some crazy cold he's got) so he gave me FULL REIGN to go to Home Depot and pick out the tile for the kitchen and main bathroom. Had some breakfast.
7:30am got Jake ready and took him to daycare
8:00am was heading towards Racine to Home Depot. At this point the roads weren't too bad. The wind was blowing tho and drifts were starting. There wasn't much snow on the ground, yet.
9:30am headed back to Kenosha with a full load of tile (15 boxes of 12x12 for the kitchen, 6 boxes of 8x8 for the bathroom), 8 bags of the cement stuff, 3 bags of grout, 2 metal rod things for doing the stairs, a 5 gallon bucket of joint compound, the top half of a toilet (left in there from Menards the other night), a few odds and ends and i think that's it.
10:07am got a call from Greg he was off to work and the roads sucked.
10:20ish, finally made it to the house with my loaded down car and laughed at all the snow on the ground. Started shoveling.
10:25am started swearing.
11am, gave up shoveling, got the sidewalk done from the road to the front door and one pass of a path from that sidewalk to the driveway. I had my path done, what more did I need! Started hauling crap in...got everything in except the 15 boxes of kitchen tile. Yes, I am sore.
A little before noon, started working on my project. Have to smooth out the master bedroom walls after striping wall paper which pulled paint off with it. Darn plaster walls! So I started that with the hardest wall and got 2.5 walls done.
2:30, watched and laugh as the mailman was stuck in the snow. Decided (Mom decided for me) to finish up and head out.
3:20 got a call from Greg, daycare is trying to get ahold of me, they're closing at 3. (I told the girls in the morning my new number was on the feeding sheet, they failed to tell the boss, who called my old number, work and Greg.) Luckily I was just finishing up cleaning off my tools and was ready to go. Got out to the car, got stuck. Had to walk down half a block to meet some neighbors who reluctently came and helped me. The snow was so heavy & thick, it piled up under the front end and whoola, spinning tires.
4:00 made it to daycare. Jake was the last one there, but someone else just picked up their kid, so not too bad!
So I get home a few minutes later (not far from daycare to apartment) and have to sit and wait for awhile for the dudes to clean out part of the parking lot. Of course they don't take care of the 4 foot drift in front of the garage door, so it's outside for the night. I also had to trudge threw drifts and crap with Jake to get to the door...which was OPEN when I got there. Just a crack, enough to let some snow in and make it a bitch to get the door closed. The door didn't get locked, so the wind must've popped it open.
So of course it's 62 degrees in the apartment. The lowest it's been has been 68, so we've never turned the heat on yet. I try, can't figure it out, call Jenny upstairs (who is the manager of the complex) for help. She comes and shows me the error of my ways. And soon enough, it's 72 degrees. It doesn't take much to warm up 750 square feet!

I think that about covers my exciting day! The whole thing started with a 1 hour and 20 minute drive home on tuesday night from work. Today, it took me a hour to get to work. Normally about 30 minutes.

Greg went over this morning to shovel, and he only got the driveway done enough for the garbage guys to come and get the dumpster from gutting the kitchen. But never fear! Super Jenny found a snow blower for us to use, yahoo!

Busy weekend ahead of us. Tiling, sanding floors, painting...whatever needs to be done and can get done will! Whooo! I have lots of pictures, I'll try and get them on soon!

So Tired

It's ours...it's really ours!

The work has begun, we're already tired. We closed on the house on friday afternoon. Saturday family came down (Buzz, Sue, Tricia and Taylor) and we did some stuff. Our neighbors Jenny & Mike stopped by and couldn't resist the enticing fun of peeling wall paper! Today we went and bought some stuff. Menards for some supplies and American for appliances. We ended up spending the whole day shopping around, so not much got done at the house. Okay, nothing got done. We did peel up a bit of the kitchen floor, no wood under there.

So what's going to all happen? What's the plan? We're going to work on the joint until Feb 22nd and then move in! During this time there will be much painting, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, floor refinishing...the list goes on forever!

I shoveled on saturday...there is A LOT of sidewalk out there! Corner lot and it seems really wide. A lot wider than the sidewalk in BD. And of course a longer driveway, of which I did as little as possible.

That's about it for now! Jake's doing awesome! Knock on wood; he's been doing awesome at night. I had 3 nights in a row of no waking up! Last night was a little off, and tonight I'm sure will be a little off...maybe not, I need to feed him some food (cereal stuff mixed with baby food carrots, divine!) and then hopefully a full night of sleep since it's so late. yeah, that's the ticket. How mad will he be when I wake him up? Hee! So far we eat banana, pear and carrots.

Get this! We were in Menards and I saw my college roommate Naomi! The last I knew they were out east, but moved back to Lake Geneva now which is just a bit down the road. Yay! It must be reconnection time because Greg also started talking to his old high school buddy again too. What a coincidence eh?

Alright, I'm frigging tired. I'll get more pictures of the house in progress. Greg's doing some demo this week in the kitchen, should be exciting!

Busy Exciting Weekend

We had a pretty good weekend this past weekend! We went to BD friday night, came back sunday night. We had my mom's side Christmas celebration complete with our first swimming lesson! I'll let the pictures do the talking as usual!

Porter got a spa day for Christmas and just returned. They put another silly scarf on him (if you recall he had one last year at Christmas time too down in Savannah.)

We were able to go over by Riley and get some new duds that he's grown out of...one of them being this great hat! Perfect for SuperBowl Sunday! Hee!

Here we are at Christmas time. This was the 22nd...Mike & Christine brought a present for Jake that luckily has an off switch! Jake did attempt to open it himself!

Packer dismal Sunday! Packers lost against the Bears (but are currently spanking the Lions) and we decided to break out the high chair. He does okay in it...still a little tippy! But he was able to sit at the table with us for Christmas eve dinner.

Christmas Eve Daddy saved Jake from going to church. There were up by Gramma & Grampa Sutton for the day while the rest of us went to church and saw Taylor sing in the choir and Abby & Megan be Angels. Really, not behavior Angels, but Christmas Eve Angles.

Christmas Story

Here is a good story from my friend Jodie. To set it up, she has a 5 year old boy and her fiance has a 7/8 year old boy and 3 year old girl. They have 2 dogs outside and Buddie the dog inside.

"My friend asked me if I was glad Christmas was done and if I had everything
cleaned up and put away. Here is my response: I am sure somewhere through
this you get a chuckle.

Do you realize how much work it is to take everything out of boxes for three
kids? Do you know how much work it is to clean up and put away and keep up
with 3 kids?

There are all those twist ties holding Barbie legs into the box, like they
are going to get out of the box on their own. There are six screws holding
in a 5-inch helicopter into the box and plastic things that are tied in
double knots around the wheels of a remote control truck to try and untie
and cut off and did you know you have to charge it for at LEAST 10 hours
before use? Devastating and shear disaster for a 5 year old!
In order to get a battery out of the box you have to rip all the foam out of
the box or when you walk out of the room to throw something away the kids
think it's fun to rip it all apart and leaving it for me to pick up. THEN I
have to clean up all the little teeny tiny pieces of foam while chasing
after Buddie to get the little foam pieces out of his mouth and then we have
a pile of empty boxes stacked up by the back door and then falling down
again because the kids try to get to the garbage can and their leg hits the
mound of boxes so they all fall over. But don't think they'll pick the
boxes up, they'll yell upstairs to me "The boxes fell that were by the
garbage can!!" Those empty boxes will sit there until next week b/c our
garbage bin is already full of boxes and so is Mark our neighbor man's bin
(because of us).

Then I really love stepping on those little plastic pieces that the price
tags are connected to clothes with, that the kids ripped off their clothes
because they HAVE to try everything on and then they get stuck in the
carpet, which then are stuck in my sock and then as I'm bent over picking
the piece out of my socks I'm being shot at in the butt with foam darts, so
as I stand up to see who is shooting me, I see Buddie run in the opposite
direction with Barbie hair in his mouth and the legs are trailing underneath
him, so as I turn to chase him I fall over Maddie (whom was already going
after him) and then step on a %#^%#% Polly Pocket piece that was laying on
our bedroom floor! So as I am laying on the floor in severe pain with a
Polly Pocket SHOE stuck in my foot, Buddie is laying beside me chewing on
the Barbie's hair and Maddie's crying because as I fell over her...I slapped
her in the face! So then, I look over my shoulder and I get shot in the
middle of my forehead WITH ANOTHER FOAM DART!

During all of this, Chris was completely oblivious because he was on his
computer (in the same room) and didn't hear or see a thing!

Happy Holiday's!!! And don't for a second ever think there is a dull
moment in our home, especially the day after Christmas."

I did some decorating a few weekends ago. On the left are 2 pictures from Charles' Mom Jan. She is the artist I should clarify! On the right from top to bottom: Mexico right before a storm, California along the coast by that light house we stopped at 2 visits ago and Savannah, technically Tybee Island...looking out to the ocean under the big giant pier.

And here's our adventure! Santa!!! Jake told him he wants a red wagon. And he is partially smiling there! This is at Mayfair Mall, the Roedl girls annual Santa outing. And shopping of course!

Then we took the elevator up, up and away! Mommy had to hit the food court for some caffeine! Who's that down there? The jolly old man himself!

Here is Jake with his cousin Taylor in Chico's. He looks almost as tall as she is! haha!

And this amazing thing...Taylor got a balloon Unicorn and Jake loved it. He laughed at it for hours!

That's it for now! Almost done Christmas shopping and only have a couple things to wrap yet! The great cookie debacle '07 has begun also! We'll all be fat and jolly for the holidays!

Great Aunt Sandy made me a blankie...I received it the other day with all my statistics on it! It's so cute!

Saturday we got a blizzard! Mom and Dad were going to go to Schaumburg, IL to check out the cool shops, but once they saw a car coming at them in the median, they thought twice and headed to Woodman's...something in the same town and state. Doesn't Mommy look like she's in heaven?

Merry Elfin' Christmas

Another holiday treat...I noticed a new stop sign on the way to/from daycare the other day after the long holiday weekend. I found it odd as there is one the block before/after. Then at night when I came home I noticed why they added this stop sign. Christmas Lane everyone. Kenosha has Christmas Lane (which Sara commented, I wouldn't want to live on that street because it would be depressing the rest of the year when it wasn't Christmas.) It is about a 2 block long, dead end street. EVERY SINGLE HOUSE HAS LIGHTS ON IT! And not just a strand to fit in, they decorate. It's awesome. Haven't driven down the street yet, but we will! So here is the first measly picture I took last night going thru the new (hopefully temporary) 4-way stop sign on the way home from work/daycare. I will try to do better, I promise. Oh yeah, that is a bad picture, but you kind-of get the idea of one side of the street.

We're getting better! I took Jake to the doctor yesterday. He's been throwing up about twice a day since last Tuesday night, so enough of that! Just the flu bug, which I learned babies can carry up to two weeks! Ugh! So Pedialyte for him and sleep for everyone! Pedialtyte is amazing...got his tummy uncorked and the toots ensued! We're home today from work to get back on track.

This adorable outfit was supposed to be his Christmas outfit. Well, Mr Bean Pole has gangly arms and legs and his eyes are popped open because, well, he has a long torso too. (11/18/07)

Yup. That's the time. Been up for about a hour and a half. Finally have succumb to the swing, but how long in the swing before it's safe to pick up and put in bed? Today is going to be a hoot. Ugh.

Thanksgiving weekend....Food was delicious! Company was great! 2 days later? Not so great. Starting saturday everybody started getting sick. Jake was sick too...and thought he was better, but apparently not.

I don't know what else to write, what else do you talk about at 4:30 in the morning?

Addiction

Why can't chocolate chip cookie dough be like Angel Food Cake batter and taste like crap before it's baked? Nooo, it has to be delicious ooey gooey goodness doesn't it. So that's my addiction. I made cookies out in Cali (double batch by hand in a bamboo bowl mind you!) and now I just had to make some more to feed my addiction (double batch with a mixer thank goodness) of both dough and baked cookies...out of the freezer has become my latest crave. And of course to make Greg happy. He asked when there'd be cookies around and I said I just made some in California and he said "that does me no good here in WI!"

California was good, the weather was beautiful for us out there, not so much back here. Jake was an excellent flyer, he even got some wings on our way back. They aren't the cool pins anymore, just some plastic thing. Bummer. So here comes the picture onslaught, enjoy!!!
